Every Printology order is custom-printed to your specifications, so we handle returns a little differently than off-the-shelf products. Here is exactly what to expect.
Custom items are non-refundable
Every item we make is custom printed to order, so all sales are final and custom items cannot be refunded. We cannot accept returns or offer refunds for buyer’s remorse, ordering the wrong size or quantity, or errors that were present in the proof you approved (such as spelling, layout, or artwork mistakes). Please review your proof carefully before approving it — that is what we print.
Free reprint, if warranted
We stand behind our work. If a finished order does not match the digital proof you approved — for example a misprint, the wrong item, or damage caused in production — it may be eligible for a reprint. When we determine a reprint is warranted, it’s free of charge. Just let us know and we will look at it.
Reprints and refunds are granted at the complete and sole discretion of Printology. We have the final say as to what warrants a reprint, what warrants a refund, and what warrants neither. Where we do agree to make something right, a reprint is our standard remedy; a refund is issued only where we decide a reprint is not workable. Nothing on this page obligates us to refund a custom printed item.
Finished size & measurement variation
Our standard bandana blank is 22″ × 22″ of fabric before it goes on press. Printing, drying, cutting, and stitching each draw the fabric in, so a finished bandana can measure smaller than 22″ × 22″ — and smaller than the print size you selected. This is most noticeable on our largest print areas: 19″ × 19″, 20″ × 20″, and full-bleed, which are printed to run to or past the edge of the blank. The sizes shown in the builder and on your proof describe the print area, not a guaranteed finished measurement. Variation in finished size, both from the nominal size and from piece to piece, is normal for custom printing and is not considered a defect.
Color & finish variation
Screens and monitors display color differently than printed fabric, and bandana blank colors are a close representation rather than an exact match. Minor variation in color, placement, or finish is normal for custom printing and is not considered a defect.
Reporting a problem
If something is wrong with your order, reach us through our contact page within 7 days of delivery with your order details and clear photos of the issue. We will review it and, where we determine a reprint or refund is warranted, make it right — that determination is ours to make, as described above. Reports made more than 7 days after delivery are not eligible.
Cancellations & the no-charge proof
Your card is saved at checkout but $0 is charged until you approve your proof. You can cancel at no cost any time before approval. Once you approve your proof and production begins, the order cannot be canceled or refunded, except where we elect to reprint or refund it under our print guarantee above.
Shipping issues
Delivery dates are estimates and carrier delays are outside our control. If a package is lost or arrives damaged, contact us and we will help file a claim and find a solution.
