This Privacy Policy explains how Limitless Group LLC, doing business as Printology (“Printology,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you visit printology.io, use our design builders, request a quote, place an order, or communicate with us by email, phone, or text message. By using our site or services you acknowledge the practices described in this policy. Your use of the site is also governed by our Terms of Service.
Information we collect
We collect the following information, either from you directly or automatically when you use the site:
- Contact & account details — your name, email address, phone number, company name, and, if you create an account, your sign-in credentials.
- Shipping & billing information — shipping and billing addresses, delivery deadlines, and event dates you share with us.
- Order details & artwork — the design files you upload, the product options you choose, and your notes, proof comments, and change requests.
- Tax-exemption documents — resale or exemption certificates you upload to claim a sales-tax exemption.
- Payment information — card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We receive and keep limited details from Stripe, such as card brand, last four digits, expiration date, billing postal code, and the results of address, CVC, and fraud-screening checks, along with a payment token that lets us charge the agreed amount after you approve your proof.
- Approvals & signatures — when you accept a quote, approve a proof, or authorize a charge, we record your typed name, your signature, the date and time, and the IP address, approximate location, and browser you used, as a record of your authorization.
- Identity verification — on some orders (for example, large orders or orders flagged by fraud screening) we may ask you to verify your identity through Stripe Identity. Stripe collects a photo of your government ID and a live selfie and compares your face to the ID photo. Stripe stores those images and the check; we receive the result, the name on the ID, the document type and issuing country, and we can view the check in Stripe to review it. We don’t store your ID number, date of birth, or photos on our own systems. Stripe processes this under its privacy policy, and the face comparison is used only to confirm the ID is yours.
- Communications — the content of emails, text messages, and contact-form submissions you send us, and records of calls and texts with our business phone line.
- Forms you start but don’t finish — when you type a valid email address into a checkout or quote form, we may save the contact and order details you have entered so far, even if you don’t submit the form, so we can help you finish your order.
- Device & usage data — your IP address and the approximate location derived from it (country, region, city), browser and device type, pages you visit, the site that referred you, campaign tags in the link you followed, whether you arrived from an ad click, and the steps you take in our builders and checkout (for example, starting a design, uploading artwork, or adding to cart).
Cookies, browser storage & analytics
- Essential cookies keep you signed in to your account and keep the site secure.
- Browser storage (local and session storage) saves your designs, cart, and filters on your device, and holds a visit ID and information about how you first found us (kept for up to 90 days) so we can understand which pages and channels lead to orders.
- Google Analytics uses cookies to help us understand how visitors use the site. It loads only if you accept analytics cookies in our cookie banner, and you can withdraw that at any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Cloudflare Turnstile runs on our forms to block spam and automated abuse, and may collect device and browser signals for that purpose.
You can block or delete cookies and browser storage in your browser settings, but parts of the site (such as saved designs, your cart, and sign-in) may not work without them. We do not use advertising-network cookies or pixels. Our Cookie Policy lists each cookie and storage item we use.
How we use your information
- To prepare quotes and proofs, and to produce, ship, and support your order.
- To contact you about your quote, proof, order, delivery, and any questions.
- To process payments, verify addresses, and calculate tax and shipping.
- To prevent fraud, chargebacks, spam, and abuse, including reviewing orders for fraud risk and limiting form submissions from certain countries.
- To follow up once by email (or by text, if you agreed to it) if you start a checkout or quote and don’t finish it, or a couple of days after you ask us to email you a quote. Every such email has an unsubscribe link; once you unsubscribe (or ask us through our privacy request form), we stop all reminder and marketing emails and texts to you. Messages about orders and quotes you place, like proofs and shipping updates, continue.
- To understand how the site is used and to improve our products and service.
- To keep business, tax, and accounting records, respond to payment disputes, enforce our Terms, and comply with the law.
Text messages
If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about the quote or order you placed with us, such as questions about your proof or delivery. We send a reminder text when you start a checkout or quote and don’t finish it only if you tick the box agreeing to it on that form; otherwise any reminder comes by email. Agreeing is never required to buy. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop all texts from us, order updates included (we’ll reach you by email instead), START to resume, or HELP for help. Your phone number and text-messaging consent are never sold or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to run our business and fulfill your orders, with service providers that process it on our behalf:
- Stripe — payment processing, card storage, and fraud screening.
- Supabase — database and file storage for orders, artwork, and documents.
- Vercel — website hosting, security, and IP-based location lookup.
- Resend — sending and receiving email.
- Quo — our business phone line for calls and text messages. We keep a contact record there for each customer (name, email, phone, and order details) so our team can call or text about your order.
- Google — site analytics, address autocomplete and verification, and file storage for order artwork.
- Cloudflare — spam and bot protection on forms.
- CloudConvert — converting uploaded artwork into previews and proofs.
- Shippo, UPS, and other carriers — shipping rates, labels, delivery, and tracking.
- S&S Activewear and SanMar — the blank-apparel suppliers whose product photos appear in our catalog. Those photos load directly from their servers, so your browser shares your IP address and browser details with them when you view our apparel pages.
- Production partners & suppliers — the print partners and blank-garment suppliers that make and ship your order, which receive your artwork, order details, and shipping information. Some of these partners are located outside the United States (see “Where your information is processed”).
We may also disclose information when required by law or legal process; to protect the rights, property, or safety of Printology, our customers, or others, including to investigate fraud or respond to a payment dispute; in connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of our business; or with your consent.
We do not sell your personal information or your designs, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Your artwork
Files you upload are used to produce your order and are kept on file for reorders. We do not resell, redistribute, or use your designs for any purpose other than fulfilling your order, unless you give us permission. You are responsible for having the rights to any artwork you upload, as described in our Terms of Service.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information, and we rely on Stripe’s PCI-compliant systems for card data. No website, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of information you send us. Please keep your email account and sign-in links secure. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
Data retention
We keep order records, approvals, signatures, and payment records for as long as needed to fulfill and support your order (including reorders), resolve disputes, and meet tax, accounting, and other legal obligations. We keep other information, such as unfinished forms, analytics data, and messages, only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, and then delete or de-identify it.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to receive a copy of it. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), along with the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do neither) and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We treat Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as a valid opt-out request: when your browser sends one, we keep analytics cookies off.
To make a request, use our privacy request form, email info@printology.io, or call (725) 228-7778. We will verify your request by matching the information you provide with the information we have, and we will respond within the time required by law. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we may ask the agent for proof of authorization. Some information may be kept where the law permits, for example to complete an order, prevent fraud, or meet tax and accounting requirements.
Categories of personal information we collected in the past 12 months (as defined by the CCPA): identifiers (name, email, phone, address, IP address); customer records (billing details, partial card information); commercial information (orders, quotes, and purchase history); internet activity (pages visited, referrers, and site interactions); approximate geolocation (from IP address); electronic and audio-related information (emails, texts, call records, and signatures); professional information (company name); and account sign-in credentials; and, only if we ask you to verify your identity, sensitive personal information (a government ID image and a selfie used for a face match, processed and stored by Stripe). We collect this information from you, from your device, and from our service providers, for the business purposes described above, and we disclose it only to the categories of recipients listed under “How we share information.” We use sensitive personal information only to verify identity and prevent fraud, never to infer characteristics about you.
California “Shine the Light.” We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes.
Children
Our site is intended for businesses and adults and is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old to place an order or create an account; if you are younger, a parent or guardian must order for you. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not sell or share the personal information of anyone, including consumers under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, use our privacy request form or contact us and we will delete it.
Where your information is processed
Printology is based in the United States, and your information is stored and processed in the United States. Some products are made by production partners outside the United States (for example, in India and China); for those orders, the partner receives your artwork, order details, and the name and address the order ships to. If you use the site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
Third-party links
Our site may link to websites and services we don’t operate. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page with an updated date above. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to let you know, such as a notice on the site.
