What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. “Browser storage” (local storage and session storage) works similarly but is only read by the site itself, on your device. We use both.
Your choice
The first time you visit, a banner asks whether you allow analytics cookies. Analytics cookies are off until you accept them, and choosing “Essential only” is as easy as accepting. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a refusal and keep analytics cookies off. You can change your choice at any time:
Essential cookies & storage (always on)
These are needed for the site to work and can’t be switched off in our banner:
- pa_customer (cookie) — keeps you signed in to your account. Lasts up to 30 days, or until you sign out.
- Cart & saved designs (local storage) — remembers the items in your cart and the bandana or apparel design you’re working on, so you don’t lose your work.
- Shopping filters (session storage) — remembers the filters you picked while browsing products, until you close the tab.
- pc_cookie_consent_v1 (local storage) — remembers your cookie choice so we don’t ask again on every page.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — runs on our forms to block spam and bots, and may set a cookie or read device signals for that purpose only.
- Stripe — when you pay, you’re sent to Stripe’s secure payment page, where Stripe may set its own cookies to process your payment and prevent fraud.
First-party measurement (always on)
We keep a simple count of how visitors move through our own site — a per-tab visit ID (pa_sess_v1, pa_sent_v1, session storage) and how you first found us, such as the referring site or campaign tag (pa_attr_v1, local storage, kept for up to 90 days). This uses no cookies, is not shared with advertising networks or any other third party, and is used only to understand which pages lead to orders and to help with your order.
Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
- Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) — helps us understand how visitors use the site in aggregate. Set by Google, kept for up to 2 years. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. If you withdraw consent, we stop Google Analytics and delete these cookies.
We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or social-media tracking pixels.
Controlling cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies and storage may stop parts of the site — such as your cart, saved designs, and sign-in — from working.
Changes to this policy
If we add or change cookies, we will update this page and the date above, and ask for your consent again where required.
