Custom bandanas are a great way to promote your brand without breaking the bank. They're less expensive and more unique than t-shirts, and they're a perfect way to get noticed at an event large or small — your audience gets a trendy way to engage with your brand and display it for all to see.
So how does a blank bandana become a branded one? Here's a look behind the scenes at our print facility.
Screen printing a bandana
In our most popular process, we screen print your design onto blank bandanas one color at a time. Each color in your artwork gets its own screen, and the ink is pressed through the screen onto the fabric. In the video below, we screen print a design with white plastisol ink onto tie-dye blanks — a classic look that never goes out of style.

Fabrics and print methods
We print on 100% cotton or 100% polyester bandanas, and we match the print method to your design:
- Screen printing — bold spot colors, best value in bulk. We can print up to 8 colors this way.
- Dye sublimation — full-color, photo-real, edge-to-edge printing on 100% polyester. The choice when your artwork has more than 8 colors or needs all-over coverage.
- Direct-to-garment (DTG) — full-color digital printing on 100% cotton, great for detailed art and smaller runs.
More than 8 colors?
No problem. If your artwork has more colors than screen printing can handle, we print it with dye sublimation or DTG for unlimited full color.
Single-sided, double-sided and all-over prints
We offer single-sided, double-sided, and all-over prints. Double-sided bandanas use a special dye process so your design shows crisply on both sides — learn how double-sided bandanas are made.
